Kitty is a professional Newcastle and Hunter Valley Wedding Photographer who’s been perfecting her craft for 8 years or more. This experience means she knows exactly how to help to keep things running smoothly, so all you have to do is kick back with your beloved while you make things official. Sounds good right?! (bla bla who cares - let’s get to the juicy stuff)

Ok, what it really means is that Kitty and her second shooter Jade can next level ninja to capture genuine (and a bit sneaky) actual real-life moments because we all know that candid photos are the bomb. And Lily & Twine is all about nailing the most natural and beautiful photos. - Because we all want to look good...like really good, in our wedding photos right? Hey everybody! Come and see how good I look!
Getting to know you is a big part of Kitty’s work- because your day will be as unique as you are, and it’s important to Kitty that she knows how you roll, and what is most important to you (and if it's ok to eat your wedding cake and drink a beer with you on the day). Which is why she loves catching up pre-wedding for your Engagement Session, a chance to chat all things wedding and get you feeling comfy in front of the camera. (well hey there supermodel!)
That way come wedding day you will be free from any nerves, knowing that you got this, leaving you all set to take it all in and feel all the feels- those nervous moments of anticipation, the overflowing emotion and joy, the crazy ecstatic glee of being all newlywed. The stuff we all live for!
Lily & Twine embraces inclusivity, so if you don’t feel that all couples are valid and should be treated equally then you are totally in the wrong place. Because love is love and that is that.
How We Roll
Lily & Twine is a relaxed, natural and genuine approach to wedding photography. We are there to capture your awesome story without completely taking over.
By letting things flow as naturally as possible, allowing time for you to really be in the moment, have fun and enjoy such an important day, we are able to capture the the real you in all your glory!
WE WILL
We will skilfully capture beautiful candid moments, in the most non obtrusive way. We will give you space to be together, we will capture all the little moments as well as the big. And we will also make sure you get a couple of ‘Holy Wowsers!’ shots in there as well, coz we all need one or two of those for the wall, in my opinion.
WE WONT
We will not take over your day making you pose awkwardly over and over again to create a bunch of cheesy, staged photos that show nothing of the real you. We will not eat all of your cake. Probably.
